OYA Basketball 25/26

🏀❄️ Ooltewah Youth Basketball is HERE! ❄️🏀
Get ready for an exciting winter season of Recreational Basketball for Boys & Girls (K–7th Grade)!
This year, Ooltewah Youth teams will compete with Thunder Basketball, East Hamilton, and Ridgeland.
🏀 Divisions (Single Grade Levels):
• Kindergarten
• 1st Grade
• 2nd Grade
• 3rd Grade
• 4th Grade
• 5th Grade
• 6th Grade
• 7th Grade
🏀 Goal Heights:
• K–1st Grade → 8’ Goal
• 2nd–3rd Grade → 9’ Goal
• 4th–7th Grade → 10’ Goal
📍 Game Locations:
• Home Games: Played locally in the Ooltewah area
• Away Games: Travel required to Thunder, East Hamilton, or Ridgeland
💵 Gate Fee:
There will be a $5 gate fee per person (ages 12 & up) each week.
🗓️ Evaluations:
Player evaluations will take place the first week of November.
⚠️ Limited Availability:
Spots are limited — be sure to register early to secure your place!

2. ELIGIBILITY
1. Age Control Date is Sept 1st of the League Registration Year.
1. Age Exception requires current school report card.
1. Kindergarten* Can’t turn 6 before Control Date.
2. 1st Grade* Can’t turn 7 before Control Date.
3. 2nd Grade* Can’t turn 8 before Control Date.
4. 3rd Grade* Can’t turn 9 before Control Date.
5. 4th Grade* Can’t turn 10 before Control Date.
6. 5th Grade* Can’t turn 11 before Control Date.
7. 6th Grade* Can’t turn 12 before Control Date.
8. 7th Grade* Can’t turn 13 before Control Date.
NO Middle or High School Team Players on Recreational Rosters.
Coaches responsibility to ensure an accurate roster is submitted and on score sheet.
Players NOT on the Roster will NOT be eligible to participate.
Players may only participate on one team within an age division; however, a player can play up
on one additional team within the same organization/association.

Cheer for Basketball 25/26

Please read the Cheer Information page in its entirety before registering for Cheer-leading.

Note: We do not guarantee coaches or squads, but we will take into consideration all requests.

The $80 covers registration fee, t-shirt, and end of the season trophy. Uniforms will be sold separately.

A team store will be opened the last week of November to order uniforms. You will receive an email with a link to this store with instructions.
Practices and games will start in January.
