Please note: OYA hosts a Scenic City Softball affiliated tournament this fall. As host, all of our teams are expected to play. Please plan to have your player in town and available to play that weekend. The tournament date is TBA.
This age group is kid pitch. Unfortunately, if your child has never played before, we are NOT able to allow them to play down in the coach pitch division. This rule applies to all parks that play in the Scenic City Softball league to ensure a level playing field.
There are rules in place to make the transition from coach pitch to kid pitch smoother, such as if a batter receives 3 balls in a row, a coach can relieve a kid pitcher to give the batter a chance to put the ball in play.
