⚾ Ooltewah Youth Association Baseball Programs

Offering 3 Great Seasons of Play:

• Spring Baseball

• All-Stars

• Fall Ball

🗓️ SPRING SEASON (Late Feb – Memorial Day)

• Everyone plays! No player is "cut"

• Evaluations held for: 6U, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12

• No evaluations for: Rookies (T-ball) & 4/5

• Rookies play without umpires; 4/5 plays with one umpire

• Practices begin in February, games begin in March, and the season will wrap up around Memorial Day.  Players can expect to play around 2-3 games per week. Games take place mostly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

• Practices will be scheduled by your team's coach and could occur on any day of the week, depending on field availability.  

Spring Divisions:

• Rookies (3–4 y/o T-ball)

• 4/5 – Introductory league (coach pitch + T-ball)

• 6U – Coach pitch only; more competitive

• 7/8 – Coach pitch

• 9/10 – Kid pitch begins

• 11/12 – Mid-March evaluations (after school ball)

• 13/14 – Plays during Summer

🌟 ALL-STARS (Late April – July)

• Tryouts start late April

• Season begins Memorial Day weekend

• State Tournament ends by early July

• World Series eligible teams may play into late July

• Team selection varies (10–13 players)

• Head Coach is selected by vote from Spring coaches

• All-Star teams make cuts

🍂 FALL BALL (September – Halloween)

• Fun, instructional season

• No evaluations, no cuts

• Scrimmage-style games

• Coaches rotate player positions every inning

• 1 umpire per game for all but Rookies (no umpire)

• Practices begin in August/September, games begin in September, and the season will wrap up around Halloween.  Players can expect to play around 2-3 games per week. Most ages will play games on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Rookies will play on Saturday mornings. 4/5 will play during the week and on Saturday mornings.

💵 Registration Fees (Include Hat & Jersey):

• 🧢 $65 – Rookie League (T-ball for 3 & 4 y/o)

• ⚾ $115 – Coach Pitch (4/5, 6U, 7/8)

• ⚾ $115 – Minor/Kid Pitch (9/10)

• ⚾ $115 – Freshman League (11/12)

• ⚾ $130 – Sophomore League (13/14)
